Author Guidelines

We welcome original, high-quality submissions that includes transdisciplinary approaches and contribute to bridging knowledge across fields, disciplines, and communities.

1. Manuscript Categories

We accept the following types of contributions:

  • Original Research Articles (4,000–8,000 words)
  • Theoretical and Conceptual Papers (3,000–6,000 words)
  • Case Studies and Practice-Based Research (3,000–5,000 words)
  • Review Articles (4,000–7,000 words)
  • Short Communications/Commentaries (1,500–3,000 words)

2. Manuscript Submission

  • Manuscripts must be submitted electronically through our submission portal: (Submit Manuscript).
  • All submissions must be original, unpublished, and not under consideration elsewhere.

3. Manuscript Format

  • File Format: Microsoft Word (.docx). Use the IJTRP Manuscript Template for formatting.
  • Length: Typically, 6–10 pages in double-column format (up to ~8,000 words)
  • Page Layout: Double-column template (A4)
  • Fonts: Use Times New Roman
  • Sections: Should include the following in order:
    1. Title
    2. Author Names and Affiliations
    3. Abstract (up to 250 words)
    4. Keywords (3–6)
    5. Introduction
    6. Main Content Sections (e.g., Methods, Results, Discussion)
    7. Conclusion
    8. Acknowledgment (if applicable)
    9. References

4. Abstract and Keywords

  • Abstract: Clearly summarize the problem, approach, key findings, and significance.
  • Keywords: Choose terms that best reflect the scope and transdisciplinary relevance of the paper.

5. Citations and References

  • Follow the IEEE citation style:
    • In-text: Use bracketed numbering [1], [2], etc.
    • Reference list: Numbered in order of appearance
    • Example:
      [1] J. Smith and L. Wang, “Integrating systems thinking and AI ethics,” in IEEE Trans. Technol. Soc., vol. 5, no. 3, pp. 120–129, Sept. 2023.

6. Figures and Tables

  • Number figures and tables consecutively (e.g., Fig. 1, Table I).
  • Include descriptive captions and reference all figures/tables in the text.
  • Submit high-resolution images.
  • Ensure all text in figures is legible and in English.

7. Ethical Considerations

  • Originality & Plagiarism: Submitted work must be original and appropriately cited. All manuscripts are checked using plagiarism detection tools.
  • Authorship: Only individuals who have made substantial contributions should be listed as authors.
  • Conflict of Interest: All financial or non-financial conflicts must be disclosed at the time of submission.
  • Research Involving Humans/Animals: Authors must adhere to ethical research practices, including appropriate consent and institutional approvals for human or animal studies.

8. Peer Review Process

  • All manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review.
  • Reviewers are selected based on expertise relevant to the manuscript’s interdisciplinary scope.
  • Possible outcomes: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, Reject

9. Open Access Policy

IJTRP is an open-access journal. All published articles are freely available online with no subscription charges.

10. Copyright and Licensing

  • Authors must submit a copyright transfer or open access license form upon acceptance.
  • Authors retain copyright of their work and agree to publish under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing others to share and adapt the work with proper attribution.
